In 2009 summer, Ariella Kaeslin, the recent European Vault Champion, as well as the second prize winner at the World Championships, was appointed a new ambassador for the renowned Longines brand. For the moment, Ariella is actively involved in the international advertising push for the novel PrimaLuna Ladies Collection, launched by the brand.

Autumn, 2009, turned out to be very busy time for Ariella Kaeslin: the young athlete was working up for the World Championships in London, which concluded the international gymnastics season. Fortunately, such intensive work was fully rewarded: Ariella became a silver medalist at the competition. The first Swiss female gymnast, who earned a place on the winners’ rostrum at the World Championships, visited Longines’ headquarters, located in Saint-Imier.

It was Longines President Walter von Kanel, who saluted the charming visitor. Ariella received a lot of media attention and signed autographs for the members of the local gymnastics club. Then, she was shown around the Longines’ watch and timekeeping museum and its production facilities. At the end of her visit, the young gymnast was presented with a remarkable timekeeper from the “La Grande Classique de Longines” collection.

In 2008, the 22-year old athlete was conferred a title of the Swiss Sports Personality. Her bright talent equally impressed the audience and professional judges. Every time Ariella steps on the platform, she demonstrates movements, characterized by precision, harmony and elegance. These are the very values deeply cherished by the brand.

The watch company Longines is proud to continuously associate itself with the world of gymnastics.
