In 2009, Hermes is glad to introduce a new extremely elegant timepiece - the Arceau Chrono Alezan. The new timepiece demonstrates a range of chestnut shades. It is interesting to mention that the watch has been inspired by the world of horsemanship. The stainless steel case of the Hermes watch measures 43mm in diameter. The case of the timepiece incorporates a sapphire crystal front and back and boasts 50-meter water-resistance. It is coupled with a Hermes chestnut Swift calfskin leather strap fitted with a safety folding clasp.

The refined ivory dial of the Hermes Arceau Chrono Alezan watch provides great legibility. It is completed with beautiful rhythmic chestnut numerals and hour-markers. The direct-drive seconds-hand in the centre, as well as counter hands, are created in orange-lacquered steel.

The chronograph counters are harmoniously integrated into the dial. The 12-hour, 30-minute and small seconds counters are positioned at 6, 9 and 3 o’clock respectively. You will notice a small date window at 4 o’clock.

The Hermes watch accommodates an automatic mechanical movement - 2894 calibre, operating at a frequency of 28, 800 vibrations per hour and providing a 42-hour power-reserve.
