Breitling watch launch of its new pilot in 1985, the aerospace avantage watch. Although the real model name is Aerospace, initially as Breitling watches all the drivers in the first half of 1980, the clock is classified as a Navitimer. Aerospace is called “NAVITIMER” both in the case of line and back.

The Breitling Aerospace chronograph has established itself as one of the themes emblematic of the brand. Once issued, this model, notable for their brilliant performance was enthusiastically received by the pilots and other world travelers.

A replacement for the UTC module is announced for Aerospace Avantage 2006 Basel watch fair (which will be made available to other Breitlings at a later date).

The new “Co-Pilot” auxiliary module has an LCD screen and displays two time zones, for example of a pilot, either UTC or local time on a 12 or 24 hours. It also includes a chronograph that records not only the length but also the start and end denoted as TKOF (takeoff) and LDG (Landing) times. The multi-functions are controlled by two buttons mounted on either side of the LCD. Like the Aerospace Avantage, the Co-Pilot is rated water resistant to 10 bar (100m/330 feet).
