High-performance Girard Perregaux Watches Diverscope Titanium
Designed to withstand extreme conditions, Jeanrichard’s Diverscope Titanium pairs a titanium case offering water resistance to 300 metres with one of the Manufacture’s own self-winding movements. The titanium of the case is treated to produce a matt structure and a dark tone, revealing its fi nest attributes. Its warm colour complements the dial and fabric wristlet, resulting in a truly harmonious model. Aesthetically striking, this reliable, high-performance watch is the perfect accessory for discoveries both on land and in the depths of the ocean.
A Sports Watch Made for Extremes
State-of-the-art technology and traditional watchmaking expertise were required to develop this authentic diving instrument, which offers water resistance down to 300 metres. Its performance was made possible thanks to the extremely stringent specifi cations drawn up by the Brand’s watchmakers and engineers. Each component was adapted for underwater use, for example the screw-down crowns or the sapphire crystal, which is two-and-ahalf times thicker than that of a standard watch. The luminescent hands and indicators on the dial ensure optimal readability in murky conditions.
Aesthetics and Ergonomics
These touches of sophistication are emphasised by a robust character and an ergonomic design. The Diverscope Titanium’s distinguishing feature is its titanium case, a hypoallergenic material offering multiple benefits. Harder than steel yet 40% lighter. It is extremely resistant to corrosion in a range of environments.Including sea water. The case’s rough appearance is obtained by sand-blasting, a process which gives it its dark grey shade to complement the colour of the dial and fabric wristlet.
The generously-sized tonneau case incorporates a round bezel. The two crowns each have separate functions: the 3 o’clock crown is used to set the time and date, while the one situated at 9 o’clock is reserved for a diving specific function. It is used to adjust the internal bidirectional bezel, which records the dive time. To prevent accidental movement caused by impacts, JEANRICHARD has incorporated a safety system: the various settings, in particular the turning of the rotating bezel, can only be made once the crowns have been unscrewed.
A perfect blend of functionality and aesthetic allure, the Diverscope is driven by a mechanical self-winding movement produced in the Brand’s own workshops: the JR1000, a development that embodies the Brand’s desire to impose its watchmaking creativity and technical independence.
