Piaget has brought forth its incredible Altiplano Double Jeu watch. Supremely elegant, yet highly unusual, utilizing a unique hinged case that accommodates two separate manually-wound movements.The case of the new Piaget watch is rendered in 18K rose gold. It measures 43 mm in diameter and is submersible to 3 ATM. By pressing a small button located between dual crowns, the hinged upper part of the case can be lifted upward, revealing the surprise of another concealed dial, just as alluring, but dressed in a different color.Framed by a diamond-set bezel, the uppermost silvered dial of the Double Jeu watch captures attention by its exquisite purity. It is completed by elegantly elongated black indices. The hours and minutes are displayed by slender stick hands. The Piaget logo comfortably resides at 3 o’clock.

The display also comprises a small seconds counter, featuring Arabic numerals and encircled with a line of scintillating diamonds. Altogether, the upper watch is enhanced by a subtle interplay of 68 diamonds, with the overall weight of 3.2 carats.

The Piaget Altiplano watch is powered by the brand’s proprietary 838P movement, which is just 2.5 mm thick. Encrusted with 19 jewels, this remarkable mechanism is composed of 131 individual parts. Just as well, it features circular Geneva ribbing, perlaged plates, beveled bridges, engraved Piaget coat of arms as well as blued screws.

The caliber operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a respectable 62- hour power reserve.

The lower dial is performed in a deep blue color. Plain as it is, the display exposes gilt indices and slender hands, pointing to the hours and minutes. They are kept company by the Piaget logo, presented at 3 o’clock.

Animating the functions of this part of the timepiece is a manufactory-made 2.5 mm thick 830P movement.

The Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a brown alligator leather strap. It terminates in a signed deployant folding clasp, sculptured in rose gold.

The extraordinary Piaget Altiplano watch has been also released in a white gold version. Both white and rose gold models are available with or without diamond setting.
