New to Breitling and I am a fan...
To be honest, I never gave Breitling a fair chance to be in my watch rotation. My experience being weird.
The first watch I bought was vintage, the movement was brown with rust and the case would not stay together. I think I paid $500 for it. I took it to my watchmaker where he pronounced it DOA. Right. So, I found a collector that took it off my hands for parts at almost twice what I paid. Okay, that made no sense but I ran with it.
The second one I bought was from the chief of police of a local township. It looked blingy but what the heck. I kept staring at it and could not overcome that sinking feeling that it might be fake. Some moderators confirmed that indeed it was a knockoff. i returned the watch to the seller who was rightly mortified. Scary to think who would sell a fake watch to a chief of police.
The third one I bought I wore for two weeks and it never smiled at me. So, I sold it.
Now, I am wearing a 7806 with the date wheel at 4 oclock and I love it. I think I am hooked.
