Omega to celebrate the moon landing by hosting space exhibit
Omega watches, to host an unique event in the US this month to celebrate the first step of moon landings, is the first and only brand to make it onto the surface of the moon,
Omega watches is to join forces with Tourbillon to celebrate the 40th anniversary of man’s first steps on the moon.
Using authentic Nasa items including space suits, tools and vehicles, the timepiece manufacturer - which is touted as the first and only brand to go to the surface of the moon - will be celebrating the feat of the human race in Costa Mesa, California.
The famous Lunar Rover and its newer counterpart the Mars Rover will be demonstrated to the public while showing other technology used to sustain the earthlings while floating around in space.
Furthermore, lucky fans of Omega watches will also be treated to a panel of experts including none other than Captain Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon.
Omega is currently promoting its Speedmaster 40th Anniversary edition, the very watch design which made one giant leap for mankind in 1969.
