The caliber is particularly noteworthy for the asymmetric tooth profile of the chronograph’s clutch mechanism. This very element assures both the lengthy power reserve as well as much smoother running of the sweep seconds hand. Equipped with a vertical clutch, the acclaimed Caliber 27-70 movement is running at 18,000 vibrations per hour. Whereas the innovative movement fitted with a more conventional horizontal clutch pulses at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
