Richard Mille is pleased to present its thinnest wristwatch - the RM 016 – in two new versions. The new timepieces are at the same time light and dark, classic and sporty. Every version is limited to 15 pieces and aimed exclusively at the Americas.The RM 016 watches feature numerals and hands accentuated with citrus-bright yellow and orange. The bright colors clearly stand out against the darkness of the black DLC titanium case. The case construction boasts an ultra-thin profile - it is just 8.25 mm thick. The RM 016 is for the first time coupled with a rubber strap, enhancing its sporty appeal.

The first RM 016 was born in 2007, having become the first rectangular member in the collection. The ultra-thin case is tapered to perfectly fit the wrist. The model enjoyed immediate success with clientele of both genders. The watch demonstrates the same attention to detail and technical sophistication as its predecessors with a tonneau case.

The manufacture and assembly of the three sections of the case construction take 202 separate machining operations. It is 30-meter water-resistant.

The skeletonized automatic winding movement animating the new Richard Mille watches provides the following functions: hours, minutes, and date featured at 7 o’clock. It gives an advantage of a 55-hour power reserve.

The unidirectional rotor with variable geometry, the brand’s exclusive development, makes the movement’s winding mechanism to be optimized and personalized to the watch owner’s personal lifestyle.

The Richard Mille RM 016 DLC Titanium in Orange and RM 016 DLC Titanium in Yellow watches will be delivered at authorized retailers of the brand in North and South America, including the first Richard Mille boutique in the region, which opens in Beverly Hills, California in November. The retail price of the watch is expected to be 65,000 US dollars.
