Rolex introduced this watch to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Submariner in 2004. Flash forward to 2010 and this version of the “green” Submariner is no longer being produced. The green bezel is the most obvious difference between this and a normal 16610 Sub. However, the dial is improved as well. The 16610 LV Submariner introduced the "Maxi Dial", with larger hour markers and large hands, which was incorporated into regular Submariner production only in the Rolex 116160 Submariner.

Stainless steel case is 40mm diameter by 12.8mm thick; water resistant to 300 meters; Trip-lock crown; Oyster bracelet with 13 links and flip-lock clasp for added security. This watch is from ‘Z’ production which dates it to 2007.

Movement is the Rolex workhorse automatic caliber 3135, which has literally been incrementally improved over time to the point where it may be the best watch movement extant, in terms of reliability, serviceability, and accuracy. Cerified Chronometer.
