Tissot has announced the winner of its latest Pit Road Precision Award.

Jimmie Johnson and his team have won the Tissot Pit Road Precision Award at the Pocono 500 Sprint Cup race in Pennsylvania.

Tissot, which has been the official watch and timekeeper for the US Nascar championship since 2006, is giving the team the award for spending the least amount of time in the pit lane, handing the crew $5,000 (£3,500) as well as Tissot watches for all involved.

Those involved in the running of car number 48 - a Chevrolet Impala SS - were the fastest on their feet, operating the car on behalf of Hendrick Motorsports.

Commenting on the win, crew chief Chad Knaus said the team did a great job with the car "like always".

He continued: "We consistently ran in the top five for most of the race and the guys on pit road really stepped up and helped us maintain that position.

"Greg Morin and the guys work really hard to stay one of the best teams on pit road and it shows week after week."

Cale Yarborough won three in a row between 1976 and 1978, after his legend, Jimmie Johnson is the only man to achieve the feat of three-time Nascar Sprint Cup champion, and his is the reigning winner again.
