Officine Panerai is proud to unveil a bold timekeeping creation - Radiomir Egiziano watch. True watch connoisseurs could admire the timepiece at SIHH 2009. The Panerai watch represents a fresh interpretation of a special model created by the company for the Egyptian Navy in the middle of the 1950-s. The original model was manufactured in a very limited number of about 50 pieces that are naturally highly collectible nowadays. The oversized watch was meant to possess a really strong and indestructible construction.

The Panerai Radiomir Egiziano watch has the case crafted in brushed titanium. The impressive case measures 60mm across. The watch features the distinctive Panerai crown security device inherited from the original watch developed for the Egyptian Navy. The case construction also incorporates a bi-directional rotating bezel. The timepiece is 300-meter water resistant.

The matte black "sandwich" dial of the Panerai watch features luminous indications of slightly yellowed, patina-like shade.

The original model was equipped with an Angelus hand-wound movement offering an 8-day power reserve. The interpretation of the watch accommodates Officine Panerai in-house P.2002 caliber, maintaining the 8-day-power-reserve tradition with help of a special three-spring-barrel system. The movement incorporates a glucydur balance borne upon an adjustable bridge. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The Panerai Radiomir Egiziano fake watch will be available in a limited edition of 300 pieces. The Panerai watch is presented on a thick leather strap fitted with a flat "GPF-Mod Dep" tang buckle in titanium. The watch will be offered for about 28,500 dollars.
