Vacheron constantin Marks Venezuela 200th With Special Timepiece
To mark 200 years of Venezuelan independence, Vacheron Constantin has created a special timepiece limited to a production run of 19 units.A modified version of the Patrimony Contemporaine, the back of the watch is engraved with the number 19 which refers to the date on which Venezuela declared its independence, April 19, 1810. It is regulated by the Vacheron Constantin calibre 1400 and features a ribbed “Côtes de Genève” pattern.
Venezuela’s war of independence (1811-1823) was led by South American General Simón Bolívar and helped trigger a series of related emancipation movements throughout Latin America, a continent with which VC has had a long and intimate relationship.
Ten pieces are available in rose gold and nine in platinum.
