An outstanding timepiece, Hublot Big Bang Wally Watch is characterized by a powerful individuality which draws its inspiration from the exciting world of yachting, and masterfully combines the common values shared by the watchmaker and yachting constructor: daring, vanguard design, traditional know-how and fine expertise and meticulous attention to high-end finish touches.

In partnership with the avant-garde boat builder, Hublot has created this limited edition of their iconic Big Bang.

The case, in Hublonium (an aluminium and magnesium alloy, patented by Hublot) measures 44.5mm. The case also features resin, titanium and PVD stainless steel. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

The watch’s case was manufactured from an extremely light magnesium and aluminum alloy, it accommodates a titanium high precision movement and it comes coupled with a comfortable rubber strap. Hublot’s designers surprised, in creating the Big Bang Wally Watch by using the same shade to the dial, case and bezel. The timepiece features matching contrasting accents which unite the Wally logo, positioned at 9 o’clock, the hour markers and indices the sides inserts of the case and the H-shaped signature screws of the bezel and the rubber strap.

Movement is the automatic Hublot caliber HUB4001 with 37 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The rotor is made of carbon-tungsten and PVD coated in black.

Manufactured in a limited edition of 500 timepieces, Hublot Big Bang Wally Watch was awarded the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Geneve 2009 in the Sports watch section and it will be released during the last regattas of this season, in Saint Tropez.
