Instructions to Set a Fake Rolex Watch Day-Date

Locate the small knob on the right hand side of your watch. This is the winding crown. Turn the knob counterclockwise until you hear a click. You may also feel a small pop. This indicates the gears of your watch have been manually engaged. The knob will have three positions in addition to the normal closed operating position.

Familiarize yourself with the positions of the winding crown. Pull the knob out to the first notch. This is the hand-winding position, which allows manual winding of the watch. The next notch engages the Datejust system and allows you to set the date. The final notch controls the hands on the watch and allows you to set the time.

Set the time by pulling the knob straight out to its farthest position. Turn the knob clockwise until the hands are in the proper positions. It may take several turns before the hands start moving.

Set the date next by pushing the knob one click in to the side of the watch. Rotate the knob clockwise again until the correct date is reached.

Push the knob all the way back in to the side of the watch. Screw it in clockwise until you begin to feel resistance. Make sure you do not over-tighten the crown.
